Routing bit
for hard
metals,
especially for
stainless
steel. Very
short and
rigid
("stocky")
cutting edges
with small
radial relief
lead to high
stiffness and
stability and
little
vibrations. As
there is no
spiral twist
the tool has
no tendency to
lift up the
material.
Therefore it
is especially
suitable for
thin metal
sheets. For
routing steel
a TiAlN
coating is
strongly
recommended. |
